Please understand that CT is dominated by progressive Democrats, and the entire state government is geared towards getting rid of any gun they can.I had seen the thread you link to. By not providing any clarification, they can intimidate people into not doing things, and it makes the law have much greater power then as it was written. I would rather spend 6 months doing research, then tens of thousands of dollars in a criminal defense, and risk using loosing all my guns. The issue is, the state refuses to provide any guidance, and has basically said they will just arrest you when you do something that is wrong.
